Getting Sharepoint Webs.asmx working with Word through Microsoft Forefront UAG 2010

Hi,

In this blog post i will show you how to fix the issue with Word/Excel 2010 not being able to edit a Sharepoint document through Microsoft Forefront UAG 2010.

When the user click on the "Edit Document" button nothing happens.

The sure still only see the "Read-Only" version without the "Edit document" button.

See this video on how to fix the issue

The issue seen from Wireshark. You get a HTTP error 500 from the WEBS.asmx service and then the WebDav MiniRedirector can't open the document in edit mode instead of "Read-Only".
